Hightail - Secure File Sharing App Reviews

This app does not remotely show all the folders within my Pogoplug system of folders. Should have access to all information ther wise useless. It has no connect to sent files from any other Hightail (what a ridiculous name for the merger) source. No access to your mail history at all. I need to extend the deadline of downloads sent on Hightail from my laptop. This app provides no ability to access these previously sent emails to edit this simple task.it does simple tasks but not ones that truly can be considered an adequate business tool. J. I use this service and the application to send and receive large files including videos . It works very well and I would recommend it to anyone needing a reliable service .

The app has worked well for me! While there are some features I would like to see added, it has served its purpose for me, at a great price! FREE! I have used the free version for a while and needed to upgrade... Upgrade complete...! It could be better, but it could be worse!

Are you serious? My friend sent a video and I tried to view- no luck .. Downloaded app & it keeps telling me I dont have an app to view this video - wth?!

One bug after another. Does this work for anybody?

The app does not open pictures, even if they have already been downloaded on a computer. There is literally NO POINT for this app.

The iPhone & the iPad only allows a short video to be sent, where as Hightail, lets you send a longer video! I love Hightail, and it is really easy to use.

This and Dropbox are on par. I like this one as well because I can see if someone has downloaded a project or not. Aka, are they doing their homework.

The Hightail app is a good way to send photos and videos to my Windows PC, without using Apple-specific software. I could also use Mail, but Mail only lets me send one video at a time. iOS compresses the video size before mailing. Mail only lets me send 5 photos at one time. A downside is that someone who hacks the iPhone or iPad can now access my Windows files.

Love this app. Ive been using Hightail for a couple years, the app just makes it more useful.

Waist of space on my phone, doesnt work tried several files to open from sent downloads and will not open it, stays in zip file, so I had another friend send me it also and same thing, find another app...

I am now being blackmailed from someone because they sent several files. But the app crapped out. Now they will only send one at a time with stipulations for the next. But after reading the reviews I realized it was the App not me. Now I have to convince them to start over using a different service. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU STOP USING ADOBE?

There is nothing to explain how to use this miserable application. Search the Internet: nothing. Go to Hightail settings: nothing. Your just left dangling with important files completely inaccessible.

I have files new and old that I want to delete...cant figure how to do this. Seems you cant? There is a message for me from tech. Received notification on my PC, wanted to use iPad to read message but cant access on this app? I dont do work on my iPad so file upload is not an issue for me. I wanted this app to view status, which I can and I can organize files in folders. But no basic delete option is a big negative.

I use this to transfer large document to many others an it work just fine. One concern is that if there is a error in the email address you wont know about it.

With an update to iOS 9 Im unable to open this app.

Overall a frustrating, limited app...seems to be way behind dropbox in basic functionality. Cant stream audio files, has to download them first. Lost a whole bunch of stuff that I though was saved to online folders, now appears to be expired and cant be downloaded. Also could not play offline files in an area with no internet connection. Could be user error but if its this hard to understand how it works, something aint right.

As Easy to use on my iPhone as it is on my Mac. I can retrieve sent files, look at my folders t great, forward already sent files. The developers of done a great job.
