Still not a smooth process, frequently crashes. Great idea, but needs work to make it user friendly

Exactly what I needed.
I purchased the app and it seems to function on iPad but freezes in iphone. I just deleted and will re-install to see if that solves the problem. The developer invites feedback that you cant give because it locks up. Why would anyone upgrade if even the lite version is buggy?
After I spent a half-hour downloading a file, roaming internationally, I went to save the file and it started the download it all over again. What exactly did it think I was downloading the file for, if not to play it offline? If saving the file is not an obvious function of this app then please, for the love of everything holy, let the user know before they start a download of a large file wasting their time and their data.
Awful app. Waste of time
I spent an afternoon trying to figure out how to work with this app, that some material was sent to me with it and all I had was frustration and waste of my time. Garbage. I rate it a 0
I have used HighTail for a couple years now to send confidential patient information to other doctors. It is easy to use, handles larger files such as X-rays and digital pictures and you can password protect your data. I love this App and have not had a problem with it at all. Ken.
Downloaded it twice now and still cant view my file. Waste of time and for sure wont be purchasing the up graded version. When the lite test version doesnt even work. Two thumbs down.
Simply horrible. Avoid at all costs.
I heard good things about this app, but EVERY time I get an email with a Hightail link and I tap Open in App, it launched the App Store even though I already have the app. Incredibly frustrating. So I deleted the app. Not worth the hassle.
Ive tried uploading various files types to hightail to add a signature and crashes every single time when I tap Done.
And useful
Like the offline option. Synchs well with PC.
Ive been a loyal user of Hightail since its yousendit era. Its been useful for the occasional sending of several mbs of file transfer, however I feel betrayed after signing up for the "pro" service and waiting literally for years to get better performance quality. First of all their web browser based file uploading system is very inefficient because the file transfer errors that happen about 50% of the time nullify the transfer all together. Very depressing when you use up your homes uploading bandwidth for several hours only to see a "something went wrong, upload again" type message. This leaves the only choices for uploading the desktop "app". Which is basically a folder sync add-on to the finder. Your iPhone app version of hightail will only get you so far as to check how far along this desktop app has been able to sync. There are obvious restrictions based in your network environment. especially related to the amount of data transfer allowed by your provider or possible at one time on your leased network line. But time and time again, Dropbox beats Hightail in uploading files more consistently and faster. So in conclusion if you are looking for a file transfer app that works, search for something else. I use Dropbox and only use Hightail because over time Ive accumulated a lot of data on their servers (that takes ages to download and makes it harder to make a move to another platform) Dont end up like me. Test syncing several file share, or data transferring services and make sure that they are consistent services because they may change the fate of you making it missing a client deadline. I now use Dropbox for important file transfers. Hightail has a cool color scheme.
Using it in our enterprise, and everybody just loved it:)
The slowest service Ive ever used! File names are incorrect in windows after copying to hightail folder. Documents hang on while listing pages.
The application doesnt work offline, I cannot add a new folder and copy inside new files. Offline you only can open the files you already have in. Also, there isnt a system to decide which file you want in iPad memory and which one you dont want and open only when you are connected. If you dont solve this problem soon other application are better then this, there are other application for iPad better then this one.
Piece of garbage and waste of time, absolutely not compatible with iPhones, and videos do not play in App.
Really does a terrible job in every possible way. Whatever you want it to do, it cant do. Itll refer you to other apps! Ha! Not sure the point!
Agonizingly un-user friendly
